wrapping party

wrapping party

We all wait for the feel of the holidays to fill our spirits. It’s just a different time of year every one is a bit more kind and we seem to take care of each other just a little bit more.

Time can also get away from us a bit. It is for this reason I prepare my dried oranges now. It’s the slowest of processes but leaves you with a great opportunity for gift toppers and decor of the season.

parchment paper
baking sheet

INGREDIENTS
seedless oranges
Turn oven to 200˚
Cut oranges into 1/4” slices and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Place oranges in oven.

I turn my orange slices every 20 minutes and cook until I’m happy with their appearance. I would say it usually ends up taking about 3 hours with drying 2 large oranges.

And there you have it beautiful oranges to mix into garland or use as a gift topper decoration.
